An Independent Company
Founded in 2023 as a joint venture between Technip Energies (60%) and John Cockerill (40%), Rely is an independent company headquartered in Brussels, Belgium. Alongside SLB and various private and public investment entities, Rely is a minority shareholder of John Cockerill Hydrogen, the subsidiary of the John Cockerill Group dedicated to the design and production of pressurized alkaline electrolyzers.
Rely actively fosters business relationships with various electrolyzer OEMs and providers of licensed technologies for synthesis processes, such as green ammonia, eMethanol and other eFuels, whose technologies are integrated into our industrial scale hydrogen plants. In particular, Rely partners with John Cockerill Hydrogen for an integrated hydrogen plant solution covering pre-FID, EPC delivery and O&M, including the innovation and technology development. The first major milestone in this joint effort was achieved in June 2024 with the launch of Clear100+, Rely's 100 MW Green Hydrogen Productized Plant.
Regarding governance, Rely operates under its own Board of Directors, Executive Committee, and Ethics & Compliance policies.
