First year completed for the Kakinada project execution

Today marks one year since Rely was appointed by AM Green Group as the EPsCm contractor for the conversion of its grey ammonia plant in Kakinada (Andhra Pradesh, India) into a Green Ammonia complex.

The project includes two trains of 640 MW pressurized alkaline electrolysers (to be supplied by John Cockerill Hydrogen) for the production of green hydrogen, making it one of the largest green hydrogen facilities in the world to have reached FID.

This first anniversary is the perfect opportunity to meet with Vijay Mohan Chawla, Project Director, and hear from him how this project represents a significant milestone for the green ammonia industry, how it contributes to the energy transition, and why it can be considered a pioneering initiative.
